Dual Saw Reviews and Ratings

Product: Omni Dual Saw

Product Overview:
Couldn’t wait to get our hands on this one. The new Omni Dual Saw says it can cut it all. With its one-of-a-kind technology and dual blade mechanism, it can cut almost any material without changing blades. The counter rotating blade makes this the only saw with 2 blades that can rotate in opposite directions at the same time, including top to bottom, forwards and backwards. The Dual Saw is powered by a powerful 900 watt motor that spins the blades in different directions to cut almost anything.

The blades of the Dual Saw are as hard as diamonds and strong enough to cut through plastic, iron, stainless steel, pvc, metal, wood and ,more. With this saw, you can cut soft metals, aluminum and copper without melting them or the saw overheating. You can even use this saw as a wet saw and cut tile, stone and ceramic. The precise design allows you to cut through almost anything without the usual pilot hole drilling.

PROS:

  • Less kickback
  • No changing of blades for different materials
  • Minimal vibrations
  • No assembly after purchased
  • Leaves cut material smooth without cracks, damage or splinters
  • Small and lightweight
  • 30 day Money back guarantee

CONS:

  • Not a big saw but it seems to get the job done just right
  • No option for a battery but the 8 foot plug is nice… seems it’s too powerful for a battery.

Cost:
The cost of the Omni Dual Saw can be made in three payment of $59.99 plus the cost of shipping and handling.

how much is the saw & were can i buy it

  3. Howard Ferstler says:

I do not own one, but here are three more potential cons:

    1. Depending upon what is being cut, there could be a gradual buildup of debris between the blades that could gradually cause them to bind against each other.

    2. There is no template and angle guide, meaning that it is impossible to do accurate cuts at specific angles: 0 degrees, 45 degrees, etc. The saw simply cannot replace a standard circular saw when it comes to making cuts like this.

    3. The specialized blades are dedicated. If the company goes out of business down the line it will be impossible to get replacements from mainstream blade manufacturers.

Has anyone that ordered on got it yet. I placed an order on 9/25/09 and still have not recieved it. Now they say it will not be shipped until 11/2/09. What kind of compnay is this. I hope this is not happening to anyone else.

  5. Claude E Eaton says:

I have purchased an Omi Dual Saw. The saw works fine but I can’t find replacements blades (the teeth stripped off the outside (B) blade when cutting aluminum porch rails). Although the official site’s FAQs refers to replacement blades the site offers no way to order them.

I need to buy two blades, but site offers no way to order them

  7. Jack Jackson says:

I don’t know how old the last two comments are, but you can order any of the optional accessories at the website, ww.dualsaw.com. I recently ordered the Stainless Steel Guide Ruler and Laser Guide, and a set of the Diamond blades. These just arrived via UPS this morning so I haven’t had an opportunity to try them out yet. I should mention that my order was received very quickly ( 7 days) after placing the order online and paying with my debit card. I am a little surprised that no assembly or user instructions were included with the accesories. Also, there is no mention of battery replacement for the Laser Guide. I have emailed the company to ask for this information. They promise 24 – 48 hour turn around when responding to questions, so we’ll see.
    Best wishes,
    Jack

  8. MAX GARLINGTON says:

JUST LIKE THE GUYS ABOVE… YOU CAN GET THE DIAMOND BLADES.. BUT YOU CAN NOT GET THE CARBIDE REPLACEMENT BLADES… THEY ARE NOT EVEN LISTED EXCEPT IN THE ALL IN ONE PACKAGE… I DON’T NEED $300 WORTH OF STUFF… JUST REPLACEMENT BLADES… IT CUTS CORRUGATED ROOFING VERY WELL.. I JUST DON’T KNOW HOW LONG THE BLADES WILL LAST WITHOUT NEEDING REPLACED.. I PURCHASED MINE FOR $160
